What BinduCare does that most systems do not

Lab machine integration and the prescribing engine behind it, described plainly, with no result BinduCare has not actually produced.

Every prescription completes a safety check before printing

The safety engine behind the Prescription Composer checks drug interactions, allergies, duplicate drugs and dosing against the national drug catalogue. A serious finding blocks the prescription from being finalised.

  • Interaction, allergy and duplicate drug checks run before a prescription can be finalised. A critical finding blocks finalisation rather than issuing a warning.
  • Dosing defaults are drawn from the national drug catalogue and carry a confidence score, so a doctor can see how much to trust a suggested dose.
  • Investigation, drug and advice suggestions follow the diagnosis coded against SNOMED; they do not determine it.
  • The finished prescription prints in the patient's format and files to the visit.

Laboratory analyzer integration, without the extra work

Analyzers are configured per department. As soon as a sample is entered, the order goes to the machine, and results come back automatically and attach to the right investigation.

A full LIS, not a lab module bolted onto billing

  • Report delivery includes patient-facing access, so a patient does not have to come back to the desk to collect a printed report.

Visits and a queue that stays in order

Reception books the slot and marks arrival. The doctor opens a queue and sees who is next.

  • Search an existing patient or register a new one in the same field.
  • Pick a chamber and a time. Slots are suggested from the chamber's consultation length, and a booked slot cannot be double booked.
  • Attach the consultation fee at booking and it becomes a real billing line, so the collection flow includes it.
  • The doctor's queue shows today's visits in serial order, so the next patient is never a guess.
